  Moved out to Rochester about 15 years ago. Have experienced the garbage plate many times but never from Charlies. Was told time and time again to go there and I finally made it there recently. I think what I ordered was good.. Nothing really different from other places in my opinion, but still was pretty good and that's the reasons for the 2 stars. The one thing I'd have to say though is the staff that I encountered was far from friendly. I wasn't greeted with a hi or anything when it was my turn to order. Just a "what would you like". I wasn't even done telling the employee the rest of my order before she quickly turns to the cooks to tell them what it was and then walked away. When she returned a few minutes later, I added the rest of my items and she still was far from friendly. Just a very "I just want you to order and leave" type of attitude. When my order was ready, I was told a very quick "you're all set" and then the employees that were upfront all proceeded to talk about their personal lives as I walked out. No thank you, no come again, nothing. Honestly all in all, I don't think I'll be returning. As I mentioned the food was ok but I feel like it's the same type anywhere, and with the customer service, I'd rather go somewhere else.
